I (Mr B) saw some of the performance for the first time yesterday and it was amazing!!
The Year 6 children went to Bramall Lane yesterday for a tour. We looked around the museum and the press box. Unfortunately, we could not cross the pitch to look at the executive boxes due to the fact the pitch now resembles a beach!
We enjoyed it and found out some fascinating information. Mr B wore his Wednesday polo shirt in protest and Miss Heap and Mrs Read’s class met Lane Legend Tony Currie.
Your kids are amazing!! Another packed three days of rehearsals has meant we have now blocked and rehearsed five scenes out of eight. We have run through lines, songs and dance moves and the job now is to put them all together! Please support your children in learning lines and songs (as many times as you can bear them!) to develop their confidence and help them in feeling super confident for the performances at the end of term. You are going to be blown away by the show…
Play blog Monday 2 week
Monday first day of the second weeks rehearsal doing great so far, more than half way through. We all have done great and everyone should be so proud and have worked so hard. It’s Monday afternoon and we’re supposedly learning the hardest song in the play. Mrs Evans is doing a great job showing everyone what they need to do and isn’t too bossy yet. Everything looks great. Everyone is doing great. And even Mrs Evans is doing a great job at acting. We started off at page 37 (the play starts at page 37) and now we’re on page 69 at the minute but we haven’t finished the end of this scene yet so I’m not entirely sure. Well more to come next time!

Today is the first day of rehearsals for the Year 6 play. We are rehearsing all day and everyone is really enjoying it so far. Our play is about the ugly duckling and we are going to perform it at the theatre for all the parents. Today we have rehearsed all the way through and I think we are tomorrow as well.
