In the Afternoon we performed to Mrs Graham and got some helpful feedback regarding our timing and acting. We also started Scene 3, when Alice meets the Tweedles.

Spellodrome

In Year 6 and Year 2, we are using Spellodrome to help with spellings.

So far a few children have earned a certificate because they have achieved at least 100 points (around about 60 minutes):  Y6 MB – Rebecca H, Zeen, Ella and Beth S.

Y6KH/HR – Ellie, Evan, Jesse and Sophie.

Well done guys, can anyone else get theirs? We’ll keep you informed.

This year, the play is ‘Alice in Wonderland’. The play Is a timeless classic with several notable characters like Alice, the Queen of Hearts and The Mad Hatter. Jodi is directing the play and hopefully the play turns out even better than Honk (last year’s play). Year 5, and several other Year 6 cast members are in the choir, and the songs in the performance are varied and cheerful with songs like: I’m late, The Walrus and the Carpenter and The March of the Cards.
